Whitko Jr./Sr. High School Art Students Receive Awards In Fort Wayne Design An Ad Contest
SOUTH WHITLEY — The 2019 Fort Wayne Newspapers Design an Ad contest recently announced the contest’s winners. Over 2,000 students from 30 schools created ads designed to sell today’s top products and services.
Thirty-six Whitko Jr./Sr. High School art students received the honor of “Advertisers Choice” finalist in the high school category out of 40 businesses. Fifteen of these students were picked for “honorable mention.” WJSHS art student Ella Kay Danner received second place in the overall awards, winning a $250 cash prize. Whitko High School art teacher Daniel Malicki is proud of his students’ success and their pursuit for excellence.
