Helen F. Manns
Helen F. Manns, 86, Rochester, passed away at 1:32 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Woodlawn Hospital.
In Fulton County, on Oct. 22, 1932, Helen Faye Enyart was born. She was a treasured daughter of Samuel Benjamin and Theresa Newton Enyart. Growing up as the second youngest of the Enyart kids she shared her childhood with three sisters Juanita, Burnice and Barbara and six brothers Nathan, Gilbert, Stanton, Thomas, Russell and Daniel.
She was a proud mother of six wonderful children Kay, Susan, Brenda, Dick, Greg and Lonnie. Her family tree continued to grow with the added blessings of three more generations including 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons.
A friend to all animals, she surrounded herself with her pets, as they too were the loves of her life. She once was caught in action taking her treasured pets on a walk. Led by Buddy her Toy Fox Terrier blend, were her three domestic long-haired felines Sissy, Mew and Kitty. They were walking in a line behind Buddy proudly parading around the neighborhood.
Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Kay Dulin companion Jim Evans, Susan Hoge and husband Jack, Brenda Johnson all of Rochester; three sons; Richard “Dick” Stallard, of Rochester; Greg Manns and wife Trina of Arkansas, Lonnie Manns of Rochester; Chris Sutton and husband Randy, Joe Manns; 12 grandchildren, Seth Manns and wife Laura, Braxton Manns, Ben Manns and wife Kayla, Aaron Stallard and wife Areli, Cassie Hedricks and husband Brian, Brandi Kneifel and husband Justin, Jeff Agnew and wife Tina, Mathew Markley, Chris Markley and wife Nikki, Glenn Johnson and wife Bambi, Michael Dudgeon and wife Mollie, Chelsea Schmidt and husband Brian; 28 great-grandchildren, Solomon Manns, Greta Manns, Sawyer Manns, Lincoln Manns, Mia Stallard, Dominick Stallard, Aria Stallard, Carter Hedricks, Jackson Hedricks, Alaina Hedricks, Kira Kneifel, Alaina Kneifel, Coehn Markley, Christian Markley, Landon Markley, Curtis Markley, Shayna Edgar and husband Zach, Kayleena Agnew, Caleb Johnson, Lizzy Johnson, Dominic Johnson, Boston Johnson, Avery Johnson, Addison Johnson, Isla Dudgeon, Oliver Dudgeon, and Milo Dudgeon; two great-great-grandsons Blaine Edgar and Nolan Edgar; a sister, Juanita Alexander of Lakeland, FL; a brother, Daniel Enyart of Mountain View, Mo.
Preceding Helen Enyart in death are her parents, grandson, Luke Manns, three sisters, Burnice Crispen, Barbara Smith, an infant sister Donna Enyart, five Enyart brothers, Nathan, Gilbert, Stanton, Thomas and Russell, son-in-law Dave Johnson.
A celebration of the life of Helen F. Manns will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 29, at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 –10:30 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Chplain Jason See will officiate. Interment will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery.
