A man was airlifted after an ATV accident Wednesday, April 24.

CLAYPOOL — A man was airlifted after an ATV accident that occurred near 5527 S. CR 50W, Claypool.

At approximately 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, medical personnel, firefighters, and law enforcement officers responded to a report of an ATV that flipped over.

A male subject on the ATV was conscious and alert at the scene. Initial reports from dispatch said the male was bleeding from the head and complaining of chest pain. The male was transported from the scene by Lutheran Air II.

A female minor on the ATV was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for precautionary measures.

Claypool Fire Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Lutheran EMS, and DNR officers also responded to the scene.
