Class Act Dance Troupe To Perform April 20
WARSAW — Class Act Dance Troupe will bring its award-winning pieces to the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20.
“This concert will showcase the artistry, talent and dedication of our students,” said CADT co-director Tammy Seibold. “We have everything from a delightfully comical production piece, ‘The Race,’ to the dynamic contemporary piece ‘All Through the Night’ by Texas-based choreographer Josh Mancullich. The variety of this show will offer something for everyone.”
“Our students are passionate about dance and it shows in every piece,” said Seibold. “You can feel their intensity in the contemporary pieces ‘Breathe,’ then with just as much conviction they deliver the uplifting beats of ‘Rhythm in the Room.’ As the show unfolds, you will be amazed by the versatility of our dancers. It’s the most entertaining 75 minutes you will find.”
Presale tickets are $12 and may be purchased online at tututix.com. Tickets will be available for $14 at the door beginning one hour prior to the performance. Proceeds from the performance benefit the CADT scholarship fund.
The non-profit performing company, affiliated with Debra Collier’s School of Dance, was created in 1986 to provide students with additional opportunities to use their dance training by performing for various events, organizations and participating in regional competitions. The company of students, ages 8 to 18, has performed for such events as Walt Disney World’s Magic Music Days, the Legacy program in New York City and for the Harlem Globetrotters, as well as focusing on community involvement through local performances.
