Heartline Pregnancy Center, Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association To Hold Community Good Friday Service
WARSAW — Heartline Pregnancy Center and the Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association are partnering to hold a Good Friday Service at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Lakeview Middle School auditorium. This free event is open to the community.
The evening will include the Belfast Community Gospel Choir. BCGC are considered ambassadors for the city of Belfast, Ireland. Their performances are charged with passion and energy. In 2009, the group’s leader, Marie Lacey, had a dream to form a community choir that would promote a positive image internationally of Belfast and northern Ireland. The choir has performed for heads of state, royalty, corporate civic functions and churches. Internationally they have performed in New York City and Boston.
The Good Friday event will include a short message by Warsaw Community Church Pastor Samuel Pena and a freewill offering to benefit Heartline’s ministry.
“We’re pleased to be able to partner with the Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association to bring a choir of this level to our area,” said Alyx Bates, director of operations at Heartline. “We’re looking forward to the impact they will have on those attending.”
