Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:12 p.m. Saturday, April 6, West Market Street, east of South Washington Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Steven D. Peters, 50, East Bair Road, Columbia City; and Jeffrey D. Madding, 39, Bluebird Drive, Warsaw. Peters was traveling east on East Market Street when he passed Madding’s vehicle on the left hand side as Madding was attempting to turn left. Damage up to $5,000.

9:08 a.m. Saturday, April 6, US 30, near East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Elaine A. Munson, 82, East CR 375S, Warsaw; and Ethan L. Cooper, 28, IN-331, Tippecanoe. Munson was stopped southbound on East Center Street when she entered the intersection, striking Cooper’s vehicle in the front right passenger side. Witnesses at the scene said the traffic control signal was red for southbound traffic. Munson complained of right leg and head pain and was checked by EMS at the scene. A passenger in Munson’s vehicle, Ramona J. Lantz, 84, Warsaw, complained of chest pain and was checked at the scene. Cooper complained of head pain and was checked at the scene. Damage up to $25,000.

8:20 a.m. Saturday, April 6, North Parker Street, south of Husky Trail, Warsaw. Drivers: Trent A. Templin, 33, West River Road, South Whitley; and Randy L. Jackson, 53, North Lake Street 3, Warsaw. Templin was traveling north on North Parker Street when the trailer of his vehicle collided with Jackson’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

10:50 p.m. Friday, April 5, East Winona Avenue, south of South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Alisha D. Hurd, 33, North Edgewater Street, Silver Lake; and Diane K. Jones, 31, East Market Street, Warsaw. Hurd was traveling north on South Buffalo Street when she merged into the right lane of traffic as she approached an intersection. She then rear-ended Jones’ vehicle. Jones complained of neck pain and received medical evaluation by Lutheran EMS. Damage up to $10,000.

4:48 p.m. Friday, April 5, South SR 15, south of East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Herschel L. Sears, 67, West Baker Street, Warsaw; Taylin M. Fox, 19, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg; David A. Reichard, 68, South Julian Drive, Warsaw; and Mariah A. Bradford, 21, South Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Sears was traveling south on South SR 15 when he rear-ended Fox’s vehicle. This caused Fox’s vehicle to rear-end Reichard’s vehicle. The collision also led to Reichard’s vehicle rear-ending Bradford’s vehicle. Bradford complained of neck pain but declined medical services at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.

3:15 p.m. Friday, April 5, 117 E. Canal St., Warsaw. Driver: James R. Hadaway, 58, North CR 600E, Lagro. Hadaway was traveling south on North Indiana Street, towing a trailer, when he began to back into a private drive. As he did so, the trailer impacted a metal light pole. Damage up to $5,000.
