Celebrate First Fridays In Warsaw With Spring Fling Theme
WARSAW — For those who aren’t traveling out of town for spring break, First Fridays offers entertainment for the whole family. Enjoy this Spring Fling themed event from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the courthouse square in downtown Warsaw.
Crossroads Community Church is hosting its kid’s zone again. This week, there will be an Easter egg hunt with over 10,000 eggs. Children will also be able to enjoy four inflatables.
Adults can join in on the fun with an Easter egg hunt around the downtown businesses. Businesses will feature Easter eggs with hidden surprises, like great coupons. See how many different eggs you can collect. There is a limit of one egg per adult per business.
Those of all ages can participate in a remote-controlled car race. An oval racetrack will be set up that features ramps and other fun obstacles. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own race car to join in on the fun. “Let’s see who has the fastest race car in Warsaw,” said Paula Bowman, First Friday coordinator. There will be prizes available for winners.
Dave Baumgartner will be DJing music throughout the evening.
May’s theme is Musical May. Any musical acts who are interested in performing during next month’s event can contact Bowman at (574)376-0233.
