Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

12:44 a.m. Sunday, March 24, South SR 25, west of South CR 600W, Mentone. Driver: Alonzo J. Villarreal, 19, East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Villarreal was traveling southbound on SR 25 when his vehicle left the roadway, striking a curve sign and tree. Villarreal sustained minor injuries to his hand and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $10,000.

2:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, 1000 Park Ave., Winona Lake. Drivers: Joan K. Sparks, 68, East Nelson Drive, Milford; and Valerie S. Morse, 34, East CR 550S, Warsaw. Sparks was moving her vehicle from a parking spot when she backed into Morse’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:34 p.m. Sunday, March 24, South SR 15, near East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Driver: Stanley Nicolas, 35, Chamberlin Drive, Warsaw. Nicolas was traveling west on East Winona Avenue when his vehicle struck a curb. Damage up to $2,500.

5:17 p.m. Saturday, March 23, North Lake Street, south of West Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ted Westerhof, 45, Oriole Drive, Warsaw; and Bethany A. Rohrer, 31, South CR 600W, Claypool. Westerhof was traveling north on South Lake Street when he went through an intersection and struck Rohrer’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

5:16 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 601 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw. Driver: Jaiden M. Wade, 19, North Lighthouse Drive, Warsaw. A passenger in Wade’s vehicle, Joann M. Buchan, 35, Warsaw, said Wade was traveling northbound on Buffalo Street and was attempting to turn right when when he took the corner too fast and had to swerve to avoid striking a vehicle facing westbound on Prairie Street. When Wade’s vehicle swerved, his vehicle left the roadway and struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle registered to Jesus M. Pacheco Rosales, Warsaw. Wade’s vehicle then continued eastbound and struck the west side of a residence at 104 E. Prairie St. The residence sustained heavy damage to the west wall. As a result of the accident, Pacheco Rosales’ vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle registered to Jose F. Saucedo, Warsaw. Buchan was transported to Parkview Hospital in Warsaw for complaint of pain in her right shoulder, arm, jaw, and right leg. Damage up to $100,000.

12:53 p.m. Saturday, March 23, South SR 15, north of Boydston Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Caitlyn P. Bailey, 20, East CR 300S, Akron; Bridget A. Natalicchio, 26, South CR 100E, Claypool; and Rachel L. Johnson, 48, South Paxton Drive, Warsaw. Bailey was traveling south on South Buffalo Street when se rear-ended Natalicchio’s vehicle. This impact caused Natalicchio’s vehicle to rear-end Johnson’s vehicle. Bailey complained of right foot pain, head pain, and chest pain, and was transported to KCH by Lutheran EMS. Damage up to $25,000.

11:39 a.m. Saturday, March 23, East US 30, near Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Steven R. Martin, 66, Lydia Drive, Warsaw; and John A. Labarge, 58, Cane Court, Greenwood, S.C. Martin was preparing to travel westbound on Lake City Highway when he rear-ended Labarge’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

2:10 p.m. Friday, March 22, 945 N. Parker St., Warsaw. Drivers: Starla J. Campbell, 70, South First Street 36, Pierceton; and Cory L. Kindig, 34, South Clover Lane, Warsaw. Campbell was backing from a parking space when she struck Kindig’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

10:56 a.m. Thursday, March 21, Market Street, east of Tamarack Street, Warsaw. Driver: Brandon L. Newcomer, 31, North Franklin Street, Mentone. Newcomer was traveling east on Market Street when he backed into a utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
