Vacant Etna Green Town Council Member Position To Be Filled April 4
ETNA GREEN — Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee Chairman Mike Ragan will appoint a new Etna Green Town Council member at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Kosciusko County Clerk’s Office, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw.
Todd Slabaugh, an elected Republican council member, submitted his resignation effective March 14.
“We would like to thank Todd Slabaugh for his many years of service to the citizens of Etna Green, and we wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Ragan.
Eligible applicants for the vacant council position must be a resident of Etna Green, a Republican in good standing and must not have a felony in their history.
Since there are fewer than two people eligible to participate in a precinct committeemen caucus to fill the vacancy, Ragan will make the appointment for the remaining term. The newly elected council member will take office April 4.
Declarations of candidacy and statements of economic interests are available at the office of Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, and must be notarized and filed with the chairman no later than 72 hours prior to the appointment or by 2 p.m. Monday, April 1.
For further information, contact Ragan at (574) 265-1430 or at [email protected].
