Lincoln Third Graders Enrich Lives At Mason Healthcare
WARSAW — Lincoln Elementary School third-grade students recently dedicated their time and crafting skills toward enriching the lives of others. Third-grade students spent time crafting flower pens and writing notes on magnetic notepads for the residents of Mason Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Students delivered the pens and notepads to each resident as well as to nursing staff at the location. In addition, the entire student body decorated and drew pictures on pink paper placemats for the residents in honor of Valentine’s Day as well.
One staff member shared that she saw a resident who hadn’t smiled since Christmas share, “some sweet kids came and gave me a pen and notepad so I could keep track of my things.” Many residents at Mason Healthcare were full of smiles, hugs and thankfulness when receiving the gifts from Lincoln students
