AGT Hopeful Seeking Audience Members For Local Video
WARSAW — As part of an ongoing fine-tuning of an audition package for one of the country’s most popular television talent shows, local musician Mark Allen is inviting local live music fans to attend a Warsaw-based show where they can be part of a his audition video.
Allen, 50, has been advancing through multiple auditioning layers for the television show America’s Got Talent in hopes of being featured on the program next season. For the final element of his tryout portfolio, Allen will perform live at Rex’s Rendevous in Warsaw, backed by local rock band A Sick World. The show, to include the audience, will be videotaped and submitted to America’s Got Talent recruiters. The show starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday March 9.
“This show will be sold out,” said Allen, “so get there early to get a seat and enjoy some great food and drinks.”
Allen’s backing band, A Sick World, consists of Michelle Gilruth on vocals, Randy Tucker on guitar and vocals, Brandon Bussard on drums and Jaron Clark on bass and vocals.
Allen will be performing and taping a set of his own original rock material that has propelled him through the first several stages of the auditioning process.
