Bell Memorial Public Library Hosts Teen Book Club, Creative Corner
MENTONE — The Bell Memorial Public Library will host the following events in February:
Teen Book Club will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. If you are interested in joining, please contact Elyza Oswald at (574) 353-7234. Teen Book Club is open to teens ages 13 to 19.
The library has many popular television series, both new and old, on DVD that are available for check-out. You must have a library card to check out items. Series that are currently available for check-out include “Game of Thrones,” “Gilligan’s Island,” “Glee,” “Gomer Pyle” and “Grantschester.” Several of the library’s television series DVDs such as “Gomer Pyle” haven’t circulated in quite some time. Hurry in and check out your favorites before they disappear.
Calling all crafters! Creative Corner will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. This month, Creative Corner will be doing Coffee and Canvas. Cost for this class is $5. Please sign up in-house or by calling (574) 353-7234. Creative Corner is for adults only ages 18 and up.

Preschool story hour takes place at 10 a.m. every Friday in the library’s children’s room. The theme for Friday, Feb. 15 is “Penguins!” Library staff members will read the book “Penguin Problems” by Jory John. Children can make a penguin water bottle for their craft.
