Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
6:46 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, North Syracuse Webster Road, north of East Sunset Trail, North Webster. Driver: James M. Smith, 37, North CR 400E, Warsaw. Smith was traveling south on Syracuse Webster Road when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
6:41 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, South SR 13, south of East CR 500S, Pierceton. Driver: Robbye A. Jones, 47, South Ulrey Road, North Manchester. Jones was traveling south on South SR 13 when a dog entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
1:11 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, West South Street, west of South Main Street, North Webster. Driver: Karen Dewitt, 59, West Huntington Street, North Webster. Dewitt turned left into a parking spot on the north end of a New Market grocery store when her vehicle slid. This caused her vehicle to strike a wall on the north end of the grocery store. The building sustained extensive damage. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
11:16 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 12799 N. Kern Road, Syracuse. Driver: Alan S. Clark, 47, North Eagle Place, Syracuse. Clark lost control of his vehicle on black ice while trying to maneuver a curve in the Syracuse Elementary School parking lot. This caused his vehicle to strike the concrete base of a light post. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
8:05 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, East Center Street, north of North Bronson Street, Warsaw. Driver: Susan R. Love, 44, Brookview Avenue, Warsaw. Love was traveling east on East Center Street when she lost control of her vehicle. This caused her vehicle to strike a rock near an intersection. Damage up to $5,000.
