Kosciusko School Districts Observe 2-Hour Delay Friday, Jan. 25
KOSCIUSKO — The National Weather Service has projected wind chills as low as 20 degrees below zero and a hazardous weather outlook and wind chill advisory are issued throughout the county. Due to the high potential of extremely cold temperatures, all five county school districts will observe a 2-hour delay on Friday, Jan. 25, in order to ensure student safety. This will include WCS, Wawasee, Triton, Whitko and Tippy Valley. Safety and security of our students is our utmost concern.
Due to the 2-hour delay, third grade will not be attending the annual Shrine Circus trip. All five school corporations will be exploring other student enrichment opportunities for the future. We are grateful to the Shriners for their annual commitment to our students.
