Nappanee Center To Display Early Town Photographs
NAPPANEE — The Nappanee Center will feature the photography of John Keller from Feb. 1 to April 30 as part of a program funded by a Library Services and Technology Act Grant from the Indiana State Library presented to the Heritage Collection staff.
The display will be viewable during the Nappanee Center regular hours, which are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The grant allowed staff to scan and digitize the Nappanee Center’s beloved Keller Albums, which are the original albums put together by Keller, reputed to be Nappanee’s first photographer. Patrons will be able to learn more about Keller, learn about the project, and see what the Heritage Collection staff is doing to preserve and share these albums with the public.
