Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

6:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, South SR 15 and West CR 950S, Silver Lake. Driver: Misty M. Black, 43, West CR 1150S, Akron. Black stated a deer ran into the driver’s side door of her vehicle. Damage up to $5,000. 

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:50 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, Emeline Street, east of Elm Street, Milford. Drivers: Jolene Holderread, 72, North CR 60W, Milford; and Henry L. Kidd, 45, East CR 1300N, Milford. Holderread stated she was making a right turn into the Milford School parking lot when her vehicle struck Kidd’s vehicle, which was stopped and waiting to make a left turn onto Machete Street. Damage up to $1,000. 

North Webster

3:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Frances D. Hoyt, 43, North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Hoyt was backing her vehicle out of a parking space at New Market when her vehicle struck a concrete sign post holder. Damage up to $5,000. 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

3:14 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, Jalynn Street and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Evelyn F. Collins, 75, South CR 400E, Claypool; and Jennifer L. Prater, 41, West Union Street, Claypool. Collins stated she was attempting to change lanes when her vehicle struck Prater’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500. 

12:46 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, North SR 15, north of Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Sue A. Shelhart, 38, County Farm Road, Claypool; and Terry J. Swick, 27, Dot Street, Warsaw. Shelhart advised she was traveling southbound in the left lane on Detroit Street and preparing to merge into the right lane. She stated she did not see any vehicles traveling in the right lane next to her. When Shelhart merged, her vehicle struck the driver’s side of Swick’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
