WARSAW — A Warsaw man is facing rape charges after allegedly having sex with a minor.
Alexander Glen Hurley, 18, 2115 E. Hendricks St., Warsaw, is being charged with rape, a level 3 felony.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Saturday, Dec. 15, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department met with a female minor who advised she had been raped by Hurley in February of 2018 at Hurley’s residence.
The female told the officer that she and Hurley had been friends at that time. She advised that she and Hurley had to wait for another friend that day so they went to Hurley’s residence to kill some time. The female stated that Hurley began touching her. She said she told him “no” and pushed his arms away.
The female said that Hurley removed her jeans as she was telling him “no” and began to have sex with her. She advised she told him to stop at least six times while the act was occurring, but he continued.
The officer then spoke with Hurley, who reportedly admitted he had sex with the female minor after she had told him “no.” Hurley allegedly admitted he did not take no for an answer and told the officer he is a sex addict.
Hurley was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail Saturday, Jan. 5, on a $20,250 surety and cash bond.
