WARSAW — Steve Creighton’s “Still Life With Gonder Vase” oil painting has been juried into the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society’s second annual “Best of America” small painting national juried exhibition.

The painting, selected from hundreds of national and international entries, will be on display at the RS Hanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Tex., from March 1 through April 6.

Creighton’s entry elevates his NOAPS membership classification to the “signature” level. He is a member of Oil Painters of America, Fort Wayne Art Guild, and is also a “signature” member of Hoosier Salon.

The artist grew up near Warsaw and majored in both art and business at Valparaiso University as an undergraduate and continued his art education with graduate courses at Indiana University. His still life and landscape oil paintings have won numerous awards including multiple “best of show” distinctions.
