Students Invited To Page At The Statehouse
KOSCIUSKO — Hoosier students between the ages of 13 to 18 are invited to spend a day at the Indiana Statehouse serving as a page during the 2019 legislative session.
The Indiana House Page Program provides a unique hands-on experience, helping students learn how state laws are made while inspiring the next generation of leaders to get involved in public service.
While at the statehouse in Indianapolis, pages help staff and local legislators, tour government offices and learn about the legislative process. Student pages receive an excused absence from school and groups can participate together.
The legislative session begins Jan. 3 and must conclude by April 30. Because space is limited, those who want to participate should sign up early.
