Tyler Prater, 21, Claypool passed away at 6:45 p.m., Dec. 23, 2018, in his residence.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1997, in Warsaw to Terry D. and April K. (Harrison) Prater.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident he worked for Precision Grinding as a Sharpener. He enjoyed music, was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved video gaming, was known as a leader, also he had a niece and a nephew who were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his mother, April Hurd of South Whitley; his father Terry Prater of Claypool; his brother, Braxton Prater of Warsaw; sister, Kaitlin Prater, Warsaw; his grandparents Marcus and Brenda Prater, Claypool and a friend Crystal Thornsberry, Warsaw. He is also survived by his niece, Kinzleigh Howard and nephew, Karston Prater both of Warsaw.

He was preceded by his grandmother, Cindy Bolin. (June 17, 2018)

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw. A funeral service will be held immediately following at noon, also at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Ward “Etsie” Allen officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
