Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

11:09 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, East US 30, west of East CR 900E, Pierceton. Drivers: Tyler P. Dispensa, 21, Angle Tran, West Dundee, Ill.; and Charles W. Rebman, 79, South CR 600W, South Whitley. Dispensa was traveling west on US 30 when he attempted to switch lanes. He failed to notice Rebman’s vehicle, causing a collision. Dispensa’s vehicle went left into the median, while Rebman’s vehicle began to spin and left the roadway on the right side of US 30. Rebman said his neck was bothering him. A passenger in Reman’s vehicle, Ada Rebman, 72, Claypool, complained of chest pain. Ada Rebman was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Damage up to $25,000.

5:44 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, South County Farm Road, south of West CR 600S, Warsaw. Driver: Joel T. Bailey, 31, South East Channel Road, Warsaw. Bailey was traveling north on South County Farm Road when a deer entered the roadway.

7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, North SR 13, north of East CR 500N, North Webster. Driver: Theodore A. Grocke, 78, EMS B4 Lane, Leesburg. Grocke was traveling north on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

11:06 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, South SR 13, south of South Old SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Travis B. Walls, 18, West Walnut Street, Pierceton. Walls was traveling south on SR 13 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

6:02 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, West SR 25, east of South CR 700W, Mentone. Driver: Carol J. Kantner, 55, South CR 1000W, Mentone. Kantner was traveling west on SR 25 when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:17 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, North CR 175E, north of Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Gage E. Webb, 23, South Market Street, Burket. Webb was traveling south on CR 150W and was looking at his GPS when his vehicle left the roadway on the left. Webb’s vehicle went through a ditch and field, and eventually collided with a cement wall for a loading dock at a barn. Webb’s vehicle struck the concrete wall with enough force that it indented the concrete wall. Damage up to $10,000.

7:39 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, East Main Street, north of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Gage E. Webb, 23, South Market Street, Burket; and Harvey L. Hayes, 43, West CR 200N, Warsaw. Webb was traveling east on East Main Street when he turned left in front of Hayes’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, East Center Street, near North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Malachi A. Greene, 19, SR 331, Tippecanoe; and Gerald S. Ulrey, 67, West CR 700S, Claypool. Greene was traveling east on East Center Street when he rear-ended Ulrey’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
