Santa Claus Is Coming To Warsaw Community Public Library

Do you believe? I believe! This is my favorite time of year. It’s a time when people are a bit more kind and generous to each other. The air is more crisp and refreshing. The beautiful snow is a blanket of sparkles everywhere it touches. The magic of Christmas is upon us.
The magic of Christmas is felt by both young and old, but especially the young. Do you remember the feeling of anticipation on Christmas morning when you were younger? You might remember waking up bright and early, so eager to see if Santa Claus had visited your house. Has he brought you something that you really wanted and asked for? Maybe it’s something that you need. Either way it’s all part of the magic of Christmas.
We look forward to this day every year. Each year we get to see more and more children’s faces light up when they see Santa. The sparkle in their eyes and the smile on their faces are so gratifying.
From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, we will have the jolly man himself here to visit with children. Children are encouraged to write a letter to Santa and deliver it to him during their visit. You are also invited to bring your camera and take a photo of your child or even your whole family with Santa. After visiting with Santa you can head upstairs to Children’s Services to decorate an ornament to hang on our Christmas tree and one to take home for your tree.
The library send a special thanks to Friends of the Library for sponsoring this event. They have not only given financial support to make this program happen, but also volunteered their time. It is greatly appreciated by all. We would also like to thank our local Meijer store here in Warsaw. They have generously donated cookies for the kids.
