Lynne Douglas
Lynne Douglas, 78, Ligonier, passed away at 2:53 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. She was born on June 13, 1940, the daughter of Theodore and Uteva (James) Mowat in White Pigeon, Mich.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Teresa) Douglas of Ligonier; two step-grandchildren, Blake Watson of Ligonier; and Kristopher (Charity) Watson of Goshen; siblings, Leota (Ralph) Long of Cromwell; and Alice Johnson of Ligonier; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and last, but not least, her four legged kids, Zoe, Jazzy, and Suzie. She was a straight shooter, and you never had to wonder where she stood, because she told you! She was strong, determined, and a hard worker. She retired from General Electric in 1990 after many years of faithful service and was a dedicated member of Millersburg Church of Christ for over 25 years. She loved to crochet, and was also a member of the Noble Needle Workers Club. She enjoyed making special blankets and hats for others, and they will continue keeping many warm for years to come.
