Elkhart Woman Arrested For Biting, Hitting Female
KOSCIUSKO — An Elkhart woman was arrested after biting and hitting a female.
Janelle Lynn Hall, 28, 1630 Superior St., Elkhart, is being charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony, and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Oct. 2, an officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a female subject’s residence in reference to a domestic battery.
The officer spoke with the female, who said that Hall was spending the evening at her residence.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the female said that during the evening, Hall became irritable and a verbal altercation began. As the altercation was escalating, the female walked away from Hall to contact police. Hall followed the female and started a physical altercation.
Hall bit the female and struck her face multiple times. The female was able to eventually call the police, and Hall left the residence. The officer observed multiple red markings on the female’s face along with bite marks and bruises on her arms.
Hall was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 5, with a $5,750 surety and cash bond.
