INDIANAPOLIS – Two members of the NorthWood boys tennis team and three from the Concord team were honored with All-District nods from the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association.

NorthWood No. 1 singles Wes Troyer and No. 2 singles Ben Vincent were both named to the District 2 list by the IHSTECA, which filed its list on Wednesday. Troyer and Vincent helped NorthWood to a 12-4 team record and an appearance in the NorthWood Sectional finals. Vincent was the Northern Lakes Conference champion at No. 2 singles while Troyer was runner-up at No. 1 singles.

Joining the All-District list were Concord No. 1 singles Alex Serwatka and the No. 1 doubles tandem of Nate Slabach and Travis Hermon. Serwatka defeated Troyer to claim the NLC championship, and the doubles team also were NLC champions. The Minutemen went on to win team titles at the NLC, sectional and regional tournaments before losing to No. 2 Homestead in the semi-state last weekend.

Also among the list was Fairfield senior Aaron Streit and Westview’s ace Kurtis Davis.
