WCHS Announces Homecoming King, Queen
WARSAW — On Friday, Sept. 21, Warsaw Community High School celebrated the annual homecoming celebration with a parade, football game and crowning of the homecoming court.
The 2018 homecoming queen is Raegan Merchant, daughter of Erin and Tim Merchant. Merchant plans to attend Indiana University and her major is undecided. The 2018 homecoming king is Daytona Hill, son of Sherri and Roger Hill. His plans are undecided.
This year’s freshman homecoming court representatives are: Peri Britton, daughter of Kelly and Orsa Britton; Jonathan West, son of Jenny and Kris West; Emilee Schmucker, daughter of Cheryl and Jodi Schmucker; and Tyler Kuhn, son of Carol and Tim Hammann.
The sophomore homecoming representatives are: Sydney Lancaster, daughter of Jennifer and Jim Lancaster; and Tucker Carlile, son of Tara and Hunter Carlile.
The junior homecoming representatives include: Daylen Turner, daughter of Shannon Nallens and Nathan Turner; Kanton Waddle, son of Angelina and Jason Waddle; Jaelyn Miller, daughter of Michelle Parker and Matthew Miller, Jaelyn plans to graduate at the end of her Junior year; and Agustin Hidalgo, son of Sonia and Agustin Hidalgo.
The class of 2019 Senior Homecoming representatives: Daisy Hernandez, daughter of Yolanda and Francisco Hernandez, Daisy plans to attend Grace College and major in Elementary Education; Alex Becerra, son of Mariela Munoz and Jaime Becerra, Alex’s plans are undecided; Lex Desenberg, daughter of Heather and Louis Desenberg, Lex plans to attend Franklin College and major in marketing and graphic design and run cross country and track; Logan Johnson, son of Rachel and Matt Johnson, Logan plans to attend Purdue and major in engineering; Rachel Yeager, daughter of Megan and Steve Yeager, Rachel’s plans are undecided; Jaylen Reese, son of Amy and Chris Reese, Jaylen plans to attend Grace college and major in biology and ultimately become a pediatrician.
