Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

11:11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, East SR 14, west of South CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Amanda N. Guy, 39, South CR 100E, Claypool. Guy was traveling west on SR 14 when her vehicle went off the roadway, striking a property marker. Guy complained of neck and back pain but did not request medical attention. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents: 

1:43 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, US 30, west of Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: David S. Godfrey, 49, Harmony Avenue, Sparta, Wis.; and Lance A. Lewis, 62, North Tabler Road, Morris, Ill. Godfrey was traveling east in the left lane of US 30 when Lewis’ vehicle slowed down. While attempting to slow to avoid a collision, Godfrey’s vehicle swerved and clipped Lewis’ trailer. As he entered a left turn only lane, Godfrey’s vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. That vehicle was then pushed into a second vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

12:21 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, CR 100E, south of CR 250N, Warsaw. Driver: Kevin M. Vallery, 34, North CR 100E 4, Warsaw. Vallery was traveling south on CR 100E when he lost control of his moped, causing him to be thrown from his vehicle. Vallery complained of right shoulder pain and was taken to the hospital. Damage under $750.
