Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 11:42 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 300 block of North Walnut Street, Etna Green. Police responded to Etna Green Electric to investigate a theft report. Police reported theft of electricity with an illegally-installed meter.
- 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 7500 block of East CR 200N, Pierceton. Police responded to Loose Moose Motorsports to investigate a trespassing report and a case of criminal mischief.
- 4:07 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 1700 block of South Main Lane, Pierceton. Police responded to the Eddie Craft residence to investigate the theft of a 200 amp breaker box. Value: $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 500 block of Hitzler Street, Warsaw. Police responded to the Beverly Moody residence to investigate a burglary. Taken was a circular saw. Value: $50.
Winona Lake
Officers from the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 5:56 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2700 block of Williams Drive, Winona Lake. Police responded to the Ryan Ramsey residence to investigate the theft of two firearms. Stolen was a Sig Sauer 229 Elite with a 17-round magazine and a Cai Import AK-47. Value: $1,910.
Elkhart
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 7:11 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 7200 block CR 29, Syracuse. Police were notified that Jonathan Henderson, 30, unlawfully entered a residence at 72833 CR 29, Lot 12, through a window, without permission of the homeowner and stole a cat. Henderson was located at 241 US 6, Ligonier and taken to the Elkhart County Detention Facility for burglary-felony.
Goshen
Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 12:22 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, Lincolnway East and Kercher Road, Goshen. Police made a traffic stop for a traffic violation and found the driver, Kaylee H. Partlow, 30, 11119 Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released with a pending court date.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 6:29 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 14900 block 4B Road, Plymouth. Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the theft of a red 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport from the 14000 block of 4B Road. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s department at (574) 936-3187.
