Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
1:54 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, CR 175N, Warsaw. Driver: Robert L. Conrad, 62, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Conrad was driving his vehicle westbound on CR 175N when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility sign. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:13 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, US 30, west of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Alissa L. Lovejoy, 21, Dodge Avenue, Fort Wayne; Joshua D. Leverett, 31, William Drive, Winona Lake. Lovejoy told police she was driving her vehicle eastbound on US 30 and when Leverett’s vehicle showed in front of her, she was unable to stop her vehicle in time to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $2,500.
4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, North Zimmer Road, south of Zimmer Lane, Warsaw. Drivers: Kaylynn R. Hamstra, 36, South Paxton Drive, Warsaw; Kayla M. Stutzman, 29, North Elm Street, North Webster. Hamstra told police she was driving her vehicle northbound on North Zimmer Road and that the vehicle driven by Stutzman stopped suddenly in front of her at a crosswalk to allow a pedestrian to pass. She was unable to stop her vehicle in time to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $10,000.
3:25 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, SR 15, north of Jalynn Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Stephanie A. Finley, 28, West Riverchase Drive, Warsaw; Tammy M. Bradley, 51, South CR 100W, Silver Lake. Finley told police she was driving her vehicle north on SR 15 and as she approached the intersection with Jalynn Street, she thought Bradley was going to proceed in her vehicle through the intersection as the light turned yellow. She said Bradley stopped her vehicle suddenly and Finley was unable to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $5,000.
2:46 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Machele L. Landolt, 58, Chestnut Street, Winona Lake; Gita M. Streby, 52, East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Landolt told police she was backing her vehicle out of a parking space at Moe’s Southwest Grill and did not see the vehicle driven by Streby, causing the collision. Damage up to $2,500.
11:17 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, North Lake Street, south of West Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Krista D. Bragg, 25, Kuder Lane, Warsaw; William E. Phillips, 33, North Dovewood Trail, Warsaw. Bragg told police she was backing her vehicle out of a parking space and did not see the vehicle driven by Phillips, causing the collision between the two vehicles. Damage up to $2,500.
7:11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, SR 15, south of Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan D. Ousley, 37, EMS T26B Lane, Leesburg; Cristian J. Baca, 19, North CR 700E, Rochester. Ousley told police he was driving his vehicle southbound on SR 15 and looked over to talk to a passenger while thinking that the vehicle ahead, driven by Baca, was still moving. When he looked back to the front he saw that Baca had stopped, but was unable to stop in time to avoid a rear-end collision. Damage up to $5,000.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
4:38 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 100 block US 6 and Dogwood Road, Bremen. Drivers: Martha J. Parot, 63, Bremen and Candy Sosa Witt, 26, Plymouth. Parot was turning north and another vehicle was turning south US 6 onto Dogwood Road. During Parot’s turn, Witt passed the other vehicle on the right shoulder of the road and hit Parot’s vehicle. Parot refused medical treatment at the scene. Witt sustained injuries and was unresponsive at the scene. She was transported to Bremen Hospital and then flown to another hospital for further treatment.
12:52 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 9100 block Sixth Road, Plymouth. A silver vehicle, possibly a pickup truck with running boards, struck a mailbox at 8126 Sixth Road, Plymouth and then collided head-on into a tree on the property. The occupant(s) left the scene with the vehicle failing to report the accident.
