BREAKING — Medical Helicopter Called To Head-On Collision Involving Semi On SR 15

Two passenger vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in a vehicle accident on SR 15 in Leesburg.
LEESBURG — A head-on collision between two passenger vehicles and a semi truck occurred around 2:40 p.m. today in Leesburg.
The accident happened near 6287 SR 15. Leesburg first responders were originally called to the scene but quickly asked for Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory to assist with extrication. The driver of a gray Toyota Camry was injured and extrication occurred to remove them. A red passenger vehicle was also involved in the accident.
A Lutheran Air Helicopter was called to the scene and arrived at 3:20 p.m. The male driver of the Toyota Camry was transported via the medical helicopter.
Plain Township Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.
