Wawasee Fall Continuing Education Classes
SYRACUSE — Registration is underway for the fall continuing education classes offered through the Wawasee Community School Corporation.
Swimming is being offered at the Wawasee High School pool Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for three weeks (Sept. 11-27). The course will consist of basic swimming/safety skills. Parents will need to accompany infants.
Cost of the course is $50 and times vary depending on skill level and age of child.
A water exercise class will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 2 to Nov. 8, Tuesdays and Thursdays (12 classes total). Location is the high school pool.
All muscle groups will be worked on in the class to gain strength from resistance provided by the water, while alleviating most injury problems. Benefits will include increased flexibility and range of motion for the water exerciser.
Cost is $40.
Adult welding classes will be offered in the fall. One can earn various welding certifications and be industry/employment ready.
