Anthony Joe Wilson
Anthony Joe “Tony” Wilson, 71, Sidney, passed away at 11:47 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at his home. He was born on Jan. 14, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo., to Jackson and Mary (Wiltshire) Wilson.
He graduated from Granite City High School in Granite City, Ill. and attended Edison College in Bellville, Ill. He served in the United States Marines and was married in November 1966 to Elaine Worley who preceded him in 2016. He worked in the Shrimp Runs in Florida, was a truck driver for many years, and moved to Sidney in 2016 from Naples, Fla.
He was a former member of the Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his son, Jeremiah Wilson, St. Louis, Mont.; two sisters: Yvonne (Harold) Lent, Sidney; and Deborah (Mark) Martin, St. Charles, Mo.; two grandchildren: and one great grandson; two brothers: Monte (Mary) Wilson, Akron; and John Wilson, San Diego, Calif; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Toni Jo Wilson, sister, Arleta Tatum, and brother, Aaron Wilson.
No public services are planned at this time. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
