Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:

• 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 100 block EMS W16 Lane, North Webster. John L. Cape reported a theft that occurred at a rental property. A laundry dryer was stolen. Value: $100.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incident:

• 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 300 block South Main St., North Webster. New Market reported theft.  A male subject took food items by opening a package and placing the items inside his clothing. He left the store without purchasing the items.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

• 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2100 block East Fort Wayne St., Warsaw. Jaiminkumar J. Patel reported a lost wallet.
• 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 300 block North Indiana St. and East Canal Street, Warsaw. Marion E. Beezley reported theft. A wallet was reported missing. Value: $8.
• 5:52 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1600 block East Clark St., Warsaw. Erin M. Phillips reported theft from a vehicle. A laptop was stolen. Value: $600. 
• 1:44 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1100 block Husky Trail, Warsaw. Menards reported theft. An investigation of the theft is ongoing.
