Warsaw Parks And Recreation Department Holds Beach Bash

Kids stayed cool by participating in various beach activities during the Beach Bash Tuesday, Aug. 7.
WARSAW — Approximately 25 children built sand castles, played games and stayed cool during the annual Beach Bash event hosted by the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department Tuesday, Aug. 7.
With temperatures in the 80s, kids and parents alike beat the heat by staying cool at Center Lake.
The luau-themed party was held at the Center Lake beach, behind the pavilion. During the event, kids got to participate in water games and other activities such as a limbo dance and craft-making. A sand castle building competition was also held.
