Barbara J. Walker, 83, Larwill, passed away at 12:55 p.m., Saturday July 28, 2018, in her residence. She was born on Jan. 4, 1935, to Napoleon and Bernice (Weaver) Tremblay in Detroit, Mich.

She was united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1979, to Darrell Walker in Jackson, Mich.

She graduated from All Saints Catholic Church and School, Detroit, Mich.

She was a bookkeeper and Secretary for Symm Duck Farm and Kelly Services as an Office Personnel Replacement. She retired in 1998.

She was a member of the choir at Troy, Mich. and Pierceton Presbyterian Church, also a Deacon at the Pierceton Presbyterian Church. She sang at many Church Cantatas.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Walker of Larwill; her children, Maria Belcher, Howell, Mich.; Clark Trombley, Columbia City; Cynthia Derby, Larwill; Michael, Trombley, Fort Worth, Texas; Lori Trombley, Ypsilanti, Mich.; and Logan Trombley, Warsaw; her siblings, Winnifred Stephens, Mancelona, Mich.; Carol Allred, Lincolnton, N.C.; Delores Tremblay, Wilfred Tremblay and Deborah Strine all of Mancelona, Mich.; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

She always had a fun-loving personality. She loved a good meal, a good game of cards and a good laugh, even if it was at her own expense! She was a good friend, a caring mother and a devoted wife.

A private celebration of Barbara Walker’s life with family and friends will take place at a later date. Pastor Chris Thereau will officiate the Celebration of Life.

The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made to Visiting Nurses & Hospice, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814-4202.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted to the family for the arrangements.
