Filing Ends At Noon Today To Fill Ballot
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Filing for vacancies on the general election ballot on the Republican and Democrat tickets ended at noon today, Tuesday, July 3. As of late Tuesday morning the only vacancy filings were those to fill the ballot for township advisory board positions.
No candidate had filed to oppose Republican candidates running for such county offices as sheriff, auditor, recorder, assessor, circuit court judge or prosecuting attorney.
Individuals who have filed for Republican vacancies are:
Etna Township Advisory Board — Steve Sechrist and Anthony (Tony) Tribalski
Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board — Sylvia Gargett
Washington Township Advisory Board — Bryan Bidwell
Wayne Township Advisory Board — Josh Spangle and Bruce Woodward.
Individuals who have filed for Democrat vacancies are:
Turkey Creek Advisory Board — Tim Yeager
Wayne Township Advisory Board — Laura Deal-Decker
These filings will allow voters to choose a minimum of three candidates to fill the three-member advisory board.
