WARSAW — Warsaw City Councilman Ron Shoemaker filed the required paperwork to establish an exploratory committee for the office of Warsaw mayor on Friday, June 29.

“This committee will allow us to receive and expend funds while we explore the possibilities of running for mayor of Warsaw,” said Shoemaker. “I believe we have a positive message for change to share with friends and the residents of Warsaw.”

An exploratory committee is an organization established to help determine whether a potential candidate should run for an elected office.
