Syracuse Library Announces Week’s Activities
SYRACUSE — The Syracuse Public Library has announced the week’s activities for July 2-7.
Silly Safaris is bringing a variety of animals with interesting stories about them to a family program on Tuesday, July 3 at 2 p.m. Children can drop in for make-it, take-it crafts on Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m. and tea on Thursday is at 2 p.m. Alice in Wonderland, Disney version, will encourage kids to have an unbirthday party.
The Syracuse Library is closing on Wednesday, July 4, for Independence Day celebrations, but all normally-scheduled programs will take place during the week except for the Friends of the Library meeting. The group is meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 10:15 p.m. for the monthly meeting.
Chair yoga meets on Tuesday, July 3 at 10:15 a.m. and again on Thursday, July 5 at 9:30 a.m., after an optional walk on the trails that starts at 9 a.m. There are many chances to watch a free family movie during the week. The library offers a weekly show on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
