WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested after a minor female told police officers that he provided her with methamphetamine and had sexual intercourse with her.

Dennis Dwayne Vandiver II, 42, 949 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, is being charged with two counts of child molesting, level 1 felonies.

An officer with the Warsaw Police Department received information that Vandiver had given a minor female methamphetamine and had sexual intercourse with her.

The minor female advised that sometime in the first part of May, she was at Vandiver’s residence. During that visit, Vandiver had oral sex with her and attempted sexual intercourse. The minor female further advised that toward the end of May, she was at Vandiver’s residence again. This time, Vandiver had sexual intercourse with the victim. According to the minor female, both times Vandiver provided methamphetamine for them to smoke.

Officers spoke with Vandiver who admitted to the acts the minor female described. He also admitted that he was aware of her age.

Vandiver was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on June 26, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
