KOSCIUSKO — The Builders Association of Kosciusko – Fulton Counties welcomed seven new members during the National Association of Home Builders Spring Membership Drive that ended May 31. The BAKFC wishes to publicly recognize new members Matt Buhrt, Buhrt Builders, Syracuse; Glenn Miller, Advanced Solar, Leesburg; Chad Stevens, American Outdoor, Warsaw; Dee Lowe, LT Siding Window Door, Warsaw; Lee Wahl, Midwest Structural, Warsaw; Christy Briney, Protechs, Warsaw/Fort Wayne; and Don Rohr, Rohr Masonry, Nappanee.

As a part of their membership in the local home builders association, each new member becomes an affiliate member of the Indiana Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders; together whose primary purpose is to protect and support the local, state and national building industries through advocacy, awareness and education.

Locally, members can benefit from networking opportunities with member builders and associates through monthly member meeting attendance and by participating in or sponsoring annual association events and committee involvement. On the state and national levels, members can also take advantage of a multitude of members only discounts, rebates and educational opportunities and more importantly receive the benefits of state and national advocacy efforts against mandatory legislation and issues that threaten housing affordability and the industry as a whole.
