KOSCIUSKO — Roles will be switched at the Warsaw Rainbow Child Care Center, as parents will be the ones receiving education from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 25, about car seat safety.

The event will take place at the Rainbow Child Care Center, located at 82 Capital Drive, Warsaw.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 72 percent of car seats are installed improperly, which is why Rainbow has joined forces with Safe Kids and Belle Tire for a car seat safety informational clinic to give parents the tools they need to keep their children safe while driving.

From how to install various types of car seats, which car seats should be used at each age, and tips and tests parents can do at home to ensure safety on the road, Safe Kids will be ready to answer any questions during this safety program sponsored by Belle Tire as the company introduces itself to the Warsaw community in preparation of opening its first shop in the area. Additionally, Belle Tire will pass out informational pamphlets to parents, and coloring books and crayons to children.

Parents who stop by for information also receive another perk, as Belle Tire will be topping off the windshield wiper fluid of any person who would like this done, along with more giveaways.
