Trula J. Cramer
Trula J. Cramer, 75, Wabash, died at 12:17 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Feb. 8, 1943 in Wabash County, to J.C. and Ruth (Tait) Draper.
She was a 1961 graduate of Somerset High School. She first married Gary Frank; he survives. She then married Philip E. Cramer on Aug. 31, 2008, in Crawfordsville.
She was a member of Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, where she played the organ and piano from 1963 to 2006. She also played at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service for 35 years. She was the first executive director of the Wabash County Visitor’s Bureau and also gave piano lessons for several years.
She was a former member of Wabash Musicale, playing for services at the Wabash Church of Christ, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her husband: Philip Cramer, Wabash; eight children: Bryan (Kim) Frank, Urbana; Penny (Randy) Tackett, Wabash; Rex (Shanna) Frank, Waxahachie, TX.; Melody (Cory) Roberts, Oregon City, Ore.; Tim (Amy) Frank, Boca Raton, Fla.; Dan (Ashley) Frank, Wabash; Phylis Jean (Tom) McNamee, Bright; and Christie K. (Tony) Thomas, Crawfordsville; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother: Jim (Dianne) Draper, Larwill; and her sister: Doris (Steve) Reiff, South Whitley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Trisha Frank.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, with Tony Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wabash County. Friends may call 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
