Warsaw Putting On Tiger Cub And Junior Football Camps
WARSAW – Warsaw High School will host a pair of football camp opportunities this summer.
A new Tiger Cub camp will begin for students entering first through fifth grades. Led by new WCHS football head coach Bart Curtis, his staff and current high school players, the camp will provide basic skills, drills, an introduction into coach Curtis’ flexbone offense, kicking game skills and defensive play.
A Tiger Junior camp will host middle schoolers in sixth through eighth grades. The camp is also run by Curtis and the staff and players, and will feature the same skills introduced to the Cub camp, but on a higher skill level, pace and delivery.
The Cub camp is June 25-29 at Fisher Field from 9-10:45 a.m. each day and is $40 per camper. The Junior camp is also June 25-29 and will work from 6-8:30 p.m. each day and is $60 per camper.
