Child Suffers Minor Injury In Accident

SYRACUSE — A young boy suffered an arm injury in a one-vehicle accident around 10:50 a.m. today June 4, on Harkless Road, Syracuse.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory and Paramedics were called to the bridge on Harkless Road when the right front tire of a Hummer went off the roadway, pulling the vehicle into the bridge guardrail, hitting the guardrail almost head-on. The front axle of the Hummer was snapped upon impact.
The young boy, a passenger, was taken by his parent to receive medical attention.
Syracuse Police and Turkey Creek Fire Territory and Paramedics responded. Harkless Drive was closed to all traffic until the vehicle could be removed from the bridge.
