Potential Traffic Issues Will Complicate Travel Through Milford Saturday
MILFORD — Milford Fest takes place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 26, with a full schedule of fun and entertainment. Milford Police Chief Travis Marsh has sent out an advisory to give motorists a heads up for the potential traffic issues that will complicate traveling through Milford this day.
Indiana Department of Transportation has closed SR 15 to all traffic south of Milford. This has resulted in an increase of traffic on Old SR 15. Police are asking motorists to use West CR 1150N to get back to SR 15N if coming from the south, or to get to Old SR 15 if coming from the north.
Streets closed in Milford Saturday will be:
- North Main Street at Fourth Street
- East Fourth Street at North Main Street
- West Fourth Street at North Henry Street
- East Catherine Street at North Main Street. NAPA parking lot will be open for customers only.
- West Catherine Street at the alley between Main and Henry streets
- East Emeline Street at North Main Street
- West Emeline Street at the alley between Main and Henry streets
- South Main Street at First Street
Visitors to Milford and residents are asked to pay attention to parking restrictions as they will be enforced as a matter of public safety.
