Northern Indiana Lakes Festival Underway

Country band Cornfield Mafia performed Friday evening, May 25, to start off the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival.
WARSAW — The Northern Indiana Lakes Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary this Memorial Day weekend at Center Lake Park, 117 E. Canal St., Warsaw.
The Lakes Games has partnered with the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams to bring new events to this year’s Lakes Festival.
Festivities began today, Friday, May 25, and will come to an end Sunday, May 27, with an afternoon performance by Lake City Skiers. Friday evening’s entertainment was provided by Cornfield Mafia, a country band from Danville. The first ever Lakes Festival parade will start at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 26, and will go down Center and Indiana streets.

- A large crowd gathered around the Center Lake park area Friday, May 25, for the concert.
- Several food vendors are set up near Center Lake.
- Food vendors, face painting, a petting farm, concerts, workshops and fireworks are all part of the Northern Indiana Lakes Festival this weekend.
