Threat Of Rain Keeps Many Participants Away

Despite rain showers Saturday morning and the threat of rain the remainder of the day, approximately 60 entries participated in the 30th annual Cruisin’ Cuse Car Show Saturday, May 19. The show ended several hours earlier due to pending threat of rain in the afternoon. (Photo by Susie Yeager)
SYRACUSE — Brief rain during morning hours Saturday for the 30th annual Cruisin’ Cuse caused a slow start, with a handful of cars arriving when the show began, with more arriving when the clouds cleared and the sun began to shine. However, the threat of rain and potential thunderstorms cut the show short Saturday with awards presented several hours earlier than anticipated.
Because of the rain or threat of rain, the entry numbers were down for the 30th anniversary, but still provided a good showing of automobiles. It has been reported there were a total of 60 entries.
