Bell Library Announces Week’s Programs
MENTONE — Mentone’s Bell Memorial Public Library’s story hour is every Wednesday at 3 p.m. and every Friday at 10 a.m. During story hour, children listen to a story, sing songs and make a craft.
The library’s 2018 Summer Reading Program begine Monday, June 4. It is open to all age groups and sign-up beings on Monday, May 21. This year’s theme is Libraries Rock. The program runs for six weeks, June 4 to July 13. Participants must present a library card.
All students attending Tippecanoe Valley Schools are eligible to receive a library card.
The library has a number of Book Buddies Kits available for check out. These kits contain storybooks as well as manipulatives. These are a great way to get the kids involved and interested in reading.
New books coming to Bell Library include “The Accidental Guardian” by Mary Connealy, “Age In Place” by Lynda G. Shrager, “A Breath Of Hope” by Lauraine Snelling, “Chuckwagon Trail” by William H. Johnstone, “The Forgotten Road” by Richard Paul Evans and “Graceful Exit” by Gustavo Ferrer, M.D.
New ebooks now available on Axis360 include “The Bishop’s Pawn” by Steve Perry, “The Fallen” by David Baldacci, “A Gathering of Secrets” by Linda Castillo, “The Hush” by John Hart, “Jar of Hearts” by Jennifer Hillier, and “Look for Me” by Lisa Gardner.
The library also invites patrons to stop by and check out dvds “Boo2,” “Dino King,” “Have A Little Faith,” “Blade Runner: Final Cut,” “The Commuter,” “Short Circuit,” “Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay” and “Forever My Girl.”
