Warsaw Man Involved In Motorcycle Crash That Killed A Wabash Woman
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was involved in a motorcycle accident that occured today, May 5, in Miami County.
Eric Lee Kuhn, 34, Warsaw, was driving a 2013 Victory motorcycle westbound on US 24 near Miami CR 300E. Evidence indicates the rear tire on the motorcycle blew, sending the motorcycle tumbling, ejecting Kuhn and his passenger Taylour Leigh Sparks, 25, Wabash. Neither individual was wearing a helmet.
Sparks was pronounced dead at the scene. Lutheran Medical Helicopter flew Kuhn, from the crash scene, to a Ft. Wayne hospital. His injuries are unknown.
This is an ongoing investigation, but at this time neither the use of alcohol nor narcotics is suspected as having contributed to this crash.
Indiana State Police Trooper Todd Trottier was assisted at the crash scene by Senior Trooper Josh Tarrh, the Miami County Sheriff’s Department, Miami County Emergency Management and Lutheran Hospital EMS.
