Triton Youth Soccer Hosting Youth Camp
BOURBON – Newly formed Triton Youth Soccer has announced a partnership with Ancilla College for a three-day mini camp this summer.
Ancilla College men’s soccer head coach Andy Stone will direct the camp along with Ancilla players and coaches from Triton Youth Soccer. The camp will take place July 9-11 at the Triton soccer fields. First through third graders will have camp from 4-6 p.m., and fourth through sixth graders from 6:15-8:15 p.m. Campers are asked to have proper shin guards, but cleats are optional. Given the timing of the camp, every camper is asked to bring plenty of water.
The cost of the camp is $25 per person, and camp participants will receive a soccer ball, shirt and three days of instruction. Focus will be placed on fundamentals, rules, strategies and fun led by Stone and his assistants. Stone has led Ancilla to national prominence, guiding the team to a third-place national finish in 2016 and an 11-3-1 record last season.
